Description

UPPER returns the upper-cased version of a string.

Supported input column types: STRING

Output column type: STRING

Unicode support: The following characters are supported by UPPER:

• The characters in the range a-z are converted to A-Z.
• The character ä is converted to Ä.
• The character ö is converted to Ö.
• The character ü is converted to Ü.

Syntax

UPPER ( table.column ) 

NULL handling

If the value is NULL, the result is NULL as well.
